The electric field is introduced from TCAD

Dear all,
I have a question for you:
When I generate a 3X3 pixel array in TCAD and import its electric field into our Allpix^2 software, and the parameter is set to “field_mapping = PIXEL_FULL”, how is the electric field of 3X3 allocated?

then the field will be interpreted as “multiples of full pixel cells” and it will always be centered around the pixel center. Effectively this means you will only ever use the central of your 3x3 field, never the outer ones - if you move more than half a pitch away from the center, you’ll end up in the neighbor.

If you would like to use your full 3x3 field, use SENSOR as scaling parameter value.
