Changing the default style in ROOT

Dear all,
all plots in the [DetectorHistogrammer] output file have no stat box; I would like to change this default behaviour. What I do at the moment is to launch a TBrowser and then select Edit → Style → Apply
but it is a bit annoying to have to do it per plot :sweat_smile:
Can you please tell me how to change this default behavior?

this is indeed something we maybe should rework and improve. Right now the style is hardcoded here:

I’m not sure if it would be better to not set any style, or to provide some sort of possibility for the user to change it. Let me know if you have ideas!

Hi @simonspa ,
as I use pre-compiled versions on cvmfs then I would prefer a mechanism that allows to change the style via configuration file if possible.

I currently have no clear idea how this could be done, mostly because I haven’t used ROOT styles myself really. If you have any insights, let me know.
